So it was the first gig of 2009 and it couldn't be a more fitting venue The Knowles Arms in Blackburn. The boys took to the stage to Elevation they hadn't played that one for a week or two so it was nice to have it on the setlist again. At the interval Bono presented Vinnie "The Birthday Boy" wiht a 50th survival Kit before the lads took to the stage to perform a great second set openeing with City of Blinding lights then all of U2's greatest hits the crowd enjoying themselves as the band played up to them. Bono announcing that Adam was from Burnley got the crowd jeering.....wonder why.

It was great to have Craig back on the sound we had missed him.

Thanks to all who turned up and thanks to Vinnie to have us play on his special day. See you all in Blackburn we hope later in the year.
