Today after a frought weekend of discussions between the members of Rattle and Hum the lads have agreed to take an indefinate break from playing Live. Does this mean it is the end of Rattle and Hum ? I guess you can never say never but it looks like it will be a while if at all if the band ever play together again.

The band have been playing as one guise or another for over 7 years they have played 177 gigs made a CD and Live DVD so it is all down on record which is a great thing.

The near future, well Gary is pursuing other musical projects, Andy is taking a year off after playing live most weekends for the last 13 years,he feels he needs time away to concentrate on other stuff. Dave and Jules well they are unsure at this time.

The band took the hard decision to cancel ALL remaining gigs for 2011 rather than play them out. You can imagine its no fun playing live , the travelling, the set up the long journey's to and from gigs when your heart is not 100% in it. It would be a disservice to our fans and people that book us.

Geting together to rehearse is no mean feat after working long and hard in a day job when your band mates are spread from Burnley to Preston to Sheffield the motivation is sometimes not there.

At this time the band have no plans to play in 2011 but would like to thank everyone who has supported them over the years it has been a great ride and thanks to all the people that booked us to play
