Well last night was a very special and emotional night for Rattle and Hum firstly it was their last gig of 2007 and what made it more special was that Nick came down to watch the boys in action.

Adam dedicated the performance to Nick and renamed the band THE NICK DANIELS BAND in honour of Nick for the evening.

The guys didn't dissapoint playing 23 songs in total. It was the first time at The Lane Ends and Steph and Laura were perfect hosts, thanks to them for having the band on and looking after them so well.

The setlist was turned on it it's head for the night. First set highlites were City of Blinding Lights, Christmas (Baby please come home) and Angel of harlem,Nick commented Gary sang this better than BONO.

Elevation made a welcome return to the second set. Jules was made up at how well it flowed and loved playing all the old hits 11 o'clock tick tock, I will Follow and Out of Control.

The gig ended with Pride and Sunday Bloody Sunday.

Thanks to all the people who came to see the band last night your support is very much appreciated.

The band are perfroming next saturday in Heywood before they take a well earned break for the rest of January. They will however be busy learning some new material for 2008. The site will be kept up to date weekly with band news etc.

All that's left to say on behalf of the band, is Thank You to all the pubs who have had us on in 2007 and a big thank you to everyone who comes to support us, we hope you enjoy it as much as the band do performing. Thanks to Mick and especially to Craig (The Soundman)we couldn't do it with out you.

And one last special and massive thanks to Nick for coming down hope you enjoyed it mate get well in 2008. Caroline, Mick and Mark it was great that you brought him down.
