Happy New Year to everyone who came to see us in 2007 we will see you all in 2008. In the meantime here is a brief review and summary of 2007 and what Rattle and Hum got up too in the last year.......

Firstly a special thanks to Caroline,Lisa,Madeline and Tracy we know you put up with a lot!!!!

In 2007 we played 28 gigs

See all the best pictures from our year in the photo setion.

January

Eddie visited New Zealand and Adam was away in China so as usual we had the month off. This enabled us to recover from the Christmas festivities and also to learn new material.

February

The first gig of the year was at The Lower house Canteen in Burnley "Sweetest Thing" made it's one and only apperance on the setlistin 2007.

March

Rattle and Hum made their first apperance at The Talbot in Burnley, this has now become their adopted home venue after playing 3 succesfull and packed out shows in 2007 at this venue.

St Patricks weeekend was a busy time we did Two gigs, one was our first time at Ma Murphy's in Morecambe. When the band arrived at 4.00PM there were bodies all over the place many looked liked they had been their since the previous St Paddy's Day....

April

A very happy time we were back at the Variety Club in Keighley. This was Eddies first gig as Daddy to Baby April she was born the day before this gig.Well Done mate ..............

May

We did Four gigs in May it was a manic, the highlite was a Sunday Afternoon at The Fullege Conservative Club.

June

We played at our friend Martin's 50th.Even Better Than The Real Thing made it's debut in the set.

We played our final gig at The Lowerhouse Canteen in a SMOKING VENUE. As the clock struck Tweleve the Smoking Ban hit the Country. We had fans from The USA at this gig.......

July

Unfortunately we had Three gigs cancelled on us in July. We only made One apperance at The Woodman.Gary the lanlord from here moved on too in this month.

August

Bad luck hit us again with another Three gigs cancelled on us. The Smoking ban was begining to hit us.

We had no gigs left to play in August...........

September

On September 15th we played one of the best gigs of the year in Heywood at Rumours Night Club this place was banging. We will be back January 2008, the band can't wait........

October

Saturday October 6th 2006 was to become a very sad gig (although we didn't know at the time). This would be Nick Daniels last gig dressed in the famous NUMBER 7 shirt as THE EDGE. Two weeks after this gig we had the terrible news that Nick had been diagnosed as having a tumor in his spine. The rest has already been reported on. We hope to put out better and more encouraging news in 2008 on his condition.

Jules Hall (our saviour) was contacted by Eddie, he came down to try out as a temporary replacement for Nick.

We met Jules for the first time at 8.35PM on Thursday October 25th 2007. After a 3 hour session Jules was on stage at 9.30PM October 26th (less than 24 hours later) an amazing feat and one to be very proud off......well done mate.

Novemeber

Wow! we were on a roll again...... Jules in place we played four gigs this month, the most notable was The Lock, Stock, and Barrel in Halifax our first but hopefully not our last time at this venue. And of course the fire alarm incident at The Ighten Leigh was probably one of the funnier things that happened to the band in 2007.

December

As usual a very busy month, a mini Christmas tour of Burnley. We sold out The Talbot on Boxing Day Night and finished with a great night at The Lane Ends in Rosegrove less than half a mile from where the year started.

As you can see a bit of a roller Coaster year with some ups and some downs. We started well then had some issues with cancellations and Nick's health has been a big shock and worry to us all.

The main thing is that we are ending the year on a better note and signs are encouraging for a good 2008

Hope to see you all in 2008. It promises to be another great year with 15 gigs already in the diary. Bono and Adam are working on a lot more. Please keep checking the site for dates they will be added as soon as they are confirmed.

The band would like to thank Craig for doing the sound and Mick for helping lump the gear, it is not always said but it is really appreciated Thanks lads.

Thanks too Jules for stepping in to help we couldn't have continued with this without you mate. Without you we couldn't keep "living the dream".............

And last but not least to our mate Nick we really hope and pray that in 2008 you make a full recovery from your illness.

See you all at a Rattle and Hum gig somewhere in 2008.
