The boys arrived nice and early and after setting up had their ration of Morecambes finest Fish and Chips. it has now become a ritual to have Fish and Chips when Rattle and Hum play in Morecambe. Back at the venue Bono, Adam and Mick washed the food down with Guiness kindly provided by the girls behind the bar.

The band took to the stage bang on 9.15PM, for once Mr Clayton timed it right....
opening with Elevation the crowd were straight on the money, until the closing of the set with the fly. The Edge commented at what a great set it was.

If the first set was good well the second set was probably the best second set the band had done this year. Adam commented how he could here the crowd sing every note particulary on Still havent found , one and streets. The hightlite of the set was the first ever live playing of Discoteque it was real rock n roll, The Edges guitar sounded amazing.

The show came to a close with a fantastic version of With or Without You.
