It was better Outside than inside - Sunday May 25th June Live at the Inside Out bar Burnley

There were a lot of bands playing this Sunday in Burnley as part of the usual Bank Holiday celebrations, but Rattle and Hum were the the only ones to play outside on a roof top bar.
The weather was great except for the wind but it didn't put the lads off.
At around 4.45PM Wakeup by The Arcade Fire began to fill the afternoon sky of Burnley. Rattle and Hum took to the stage to Elevation before going straight in vertigo. The pub was packed both inside and Outside on the roof top. The hits kept coming, Bono was on fire and had them in his hand from the start.
The boys seemed to be enjoying playing so much that after the Fly Bono announced "We usually go off now for a brake, today we are going straight through" this was met with the crowds approval.
Sing a long time came soon after with Angel of Harlem and Still haven't found, this one is becoming another anthem for this band and a big crowd pleaser. The band left the stage after Pride and With or Without You. The crowd cheering for more the band finishing with I will Follow and Sunday Bloody Sunday (What else it was Sunday.....)for the encore.
The band left the stage just after 6.40PM to rapturous applause a job well done by the lads. The Edge commented that "It was an amazing gig and the best he had ever done in either Elevation or Rattle and Hum".
someone in the crowd commented how it was great not just to see a bunch of muscians going through the motions but they actually put on a great show because they look like they are enjoying themselves whilst they are up there.
Craig the sound was fantastic thanks again from all the band. You were the unsung hero again Sunday.
Thanks to all who turned up for a great Sunday Afternoon and a special thanks to Jimmy and Shaun for booking us and accomadating us too,would love to play your great venue again soon.
Cheers to Meatloaf for agreeing to us going on first.
Not back in Burnley now until August enjoy the summer see you all soon.
