I think the total raised for Claire House Childrens Hospice was about ?370.00 Karen the hospice manager will be writing to you personally to let you know how much was raised officially and what this means for the children. I have seen your band play in Burnley over the last few years and I never met or spoke to Nick but I always thought what a great guitarist he was, the use of the effects on his playing and how he manipulated them was amazing. I have seen the real U2 a few times and I truly believe he could have stood in for The edge he was that good. My best wishes go out to you for the future, and my condolences go out to his family at this very sad time.

I am a friend of Gaz's AKA Bono and we both share a love for Marc Bolan and T Rex. Gaz invited me to come and see the band play at The Blue Bell in Monton quite some time ago. When I saw Nick play I thought Jesus Christ where has this kid come from. Absolute genius on the guitar. Gaz has kept me posted on Nick's condition and I am devasteted to hear he has gone. I cant believe it. My thoughts are with his family and the lads in the band. Its a great loss and a tragic end to a huge talent. I have seen you play recently with Jules and equally he is another guitar hero. You are a fantastic tribute to U2 and I am glad that you are carrying on. Gaz is deeply upset at the loss of Nick and I know he is trying to put a brave face on it but believe me he has broke his heart this week. In all the time Iv known him I have never seen him like this. I wish Rattle and Hum all the best for the future and my heart goes out to Nicks Family at this very sad time. Get It On..... AL..

My Dad was always proud of his work ethic and the success he made of himself after leaving them. Hi melody I started the band with Nick and it was through his love of U2 and particulary his love of their guitarist The Edge that we have become the band we are today. His attention to detail was what gave us that great sound. we all miss him so very much. I in particular will forever miss the times I spent with Nick learning the parts and getting the sound up in his music room. We have to keep the band going in memeory of him and we all will never forget him. As we all said before he wil always be on the stage with us everytime we play.It will give Caroline and especially the girls something to remind them of in the future.Not only was Nick a great guitarist he was great dad too.It should be noted how through his music he brought a lot of happiness and fun to a lot of people not just through this band but all the others he played in too. Hi Jules, I thought it sounded good, guitar and bass was good, the bass player did the correct 'Clayton stance', I thought your guitar sounded great.
